I actually had to practice walking with a book on my head. In a dress. Wearing low heels.
You do this style very well. The "feel" of it is spot on.

If I recall correctly, and long ago before the world changed, it was part of a class to teach us poise and balance; as in the fine art of getting pre/adolescent girls to move less like a bunch of gawky klutzes. We were preparing for a fashion show, but I cannot recall whether it was just for a girl scout badge or the badge and a home economics class.
