A pretty color scheme for a gorgeous and ornate hair pin. I haven't made a hankusu (half-sphere, chrysanthemum style) in a while, but I like how it turned out. I was trying to make it 4inches wide, but....I couldn't...it's still 3.5" even with the leaves.

The kimono fabric we chose makes for a nice statement piece. Designed to go with a lovely customer's unique yukata. ♥

It's almost a ravenclaw theme, isn't it? The bold lines in the print almost look like it's hiding a drawing in the kanzashi!
