Description My quest to continue showing the kanzashi I made with kimono fabric. The cuts of kimono are all rather small, since they're either the part cut off from furisode to make the standard sleeve length of women's kimono, or they're the cuts used by kimono shops to show the sample of fabric in use for kimono. Like other kanzashi I've made recently, this one shows the fabric from 2 or 3 kimono.

This piece is a rose~ It's made using tsumami zaiku techniques. Curious how to make it? Why not check out ? There are a few tutorials there for you to peruse.

I've still got a few more kanzashi in stash to go through...and I found out that I left some kimono fabric in storage, so you'll probably see more from me yet~!! Thank goodness for twins who cut fabric ahead of time and store them in bags in bags in boxes.

Thoughts?
