When I heard Jerry Reed died today, I went looking for pieces based on him and his work. This one stands out. Good job!

You take a guy who can kick a gator's ass and you have awesome. Seriously!

So you designed this character based on that song, right? That's pretty cool.

YEH. The song came up in my music rotation a few days ago when I got done the last drawing and I thought; that's next. I could draw stuff for a couple years just sparking off what I want to draw and what I see or imagine, etc. Maybe when the comic is over and my animation book published i will take a year to just do illustrations/drawings every day, whatever I want, to improve my art and style.

<---- Why is this always in the mood box next to the replies?? I just noticed there is one mood and they don't let us choose any.

D'oh, well; back to comic inking tomorrow.

I want to hear this song now.

<-- Move your cursor over this one and read the alt tag. I just find it funny the last time someone used this one on me and I called them out on account of the hilarious alt tag.

haha That's an awesome emoticon.

That song is an old #1 hit from 1972/3, and was on the soundtrack of GTA San Andreas on some channel or other. I had it for over 10 years on a Rhino compilation collection of 70's #1 hits, but it isn't an obscure song. Jerry Reed was a large country talent in the 70's with hilarious songs like 'Lord Mr. Ford' and 'When youre Hot Youre Hot'.

I just like the alt tag because it makes the user of it come off as some sort of pitiful troll. The last one who used it was one.

Some of us Americans never had tone to bother with the red coats, steeds, fool bugler, little whippets in the underbrush, and all that running around. When we want dinner, we just grab any old implement and and get it fresh.
