¨Mettaton in Undertale: Into The Void is.... different, to say the least. he was designed by Dr. Alphys and built by Papyrus to be an entertainment robot, but soon mettaton grew to resent that position. and so he quit, and joined the royal guard. suddenly, almost out of nowhere, he ascended the ranks, eventually becoming the captain, but for some reason he seems... off. it feels like something has altered him, almost. almost as if someone has injected something into his SOUL to make him more DETERMINED, almost. where does he direct this DETERMINATION? towards exterminating all humans in the underground, of course. nothing will drive him away from this goal, and he's willing to hurt anyone who stands in his way. even his co-captain, Undyne.¨ SoundCloud Description
