I've been listening to this song wayy too much lately (thanks to the hyperscrub-oyasushi melon-sensei >w<)~ It's such a beautiful song! Go listen to it! Endless Love- [link] It's the theme song of the Movie starring Jackie Chan and Kim Hee Seon- The Myth. I was really inspired to draw the scene where she turns like a butterfly so I drew it
I altered her design and setting a bit but hopefully I've captured her grace ^^ I really like this piece, and learnt so much from it! I'm slowly expanding my style I guess, and trying out smaller eye stylesTime: OTL one day....

The colour and lighting of this beautiful piece is heartwarming and pleasing to the eye. The character has a lovely look about her and her expression has a slight sadness, which makes her feel a lot deeper than one would expect.
There some things letting it down though, no much, but don't feel right in such a lovely piece. Despite there being a sense of movement to the image, it doesn't flow as it should. This is because of the movement of the clothes, hair and fabric.
When you're drawing a character in motion, remember that loose clothes and hair will follow the movement of the character unless another force stops this. Try and keep this in mind, I would recommend drawing arrows for the movement in the sketch to help you.
I would assume the character is spinning or moving her cloth outwards. So try having the hair and fabrics following her rather than going off on its own (references are a lovely thing to help with this, make some of your own if you want to).
The shading is bright and colour but soft, which is lovely and compliments the colours. It is even and in the right places, nothing wrong there.
I do believe the arms are long, for a rough guess of the right length try and remember that when you sit down and place your hands flat either side of you, your arms should be straight, that keeps it in proportion with the character.
The background is beautiful, it accompanies the character perfectly. The lighting and colours match but the upper clouds don't look complete. Try making them a little brighter because the sunlight is closer to them. And just a little preference on my side, try making sunlight paler and brighter, also make it more transparent. It will be more realistic that way.

I really love this so much, and I had a listen to that song too ;w; I'll have a go at critiquing again. I like the way that you drew and coloured the hair, it's really well shaded and I love how it flies out. I would've liked to see it a bit better behind the semi-transparent sleeve, and what I thin would work is when colouring the sleeve in that area, colour the part where it overlaps the hair on a different layer and reduce the opacity of that layer only. If that made sense. I like how you used different colours to shade the white of the dress and again, transparent sleeves look really good! I also like the relflected light on the red piece of clothing she holds onto, the folds are really well drawn too. In the corner where the sunlight shines in, I think you could do another layer where you blend it a bit and it lands onto the character, try setting the layer mode to overlay.
Overall it's just a really well drawn piece and I can see that it would've taken a long time... 24 hours, huh? sorry for the long paragraph and I hope this sort of helps |D <33
