here's wot happened with me.

1.) Take explosive
2.) Arm explosive timer for 1 minute
3.) put in top of inventory
4.) Stop to open the door as the light-fingered little bastards steal from you.
5.) Run like hell
6.) Scream "HOW THE HELL DID THEY KNOW IT WAS ME?!" as the entire town goes hostile on you.

There is a patch on a website called No Mutants Allowed, where they have a lot of things that were intended to go into FO2 but never made it. It's basically FO2 with extra locations and characters. 2 of the new things include you actually finding Sulik's sister, and you can help mom in Klamath set up an orphanage for all the kids to go to. If you successfully help her, the kids no longer hang out by the doorways to rip you off! I think it's called the Fallout 2 Restoration Project. Check it out, if hadn't already!

Okay this picture brings back memories. I remember every time I'd see the Kids do the Steal animation in the Den I'd immediately turn around and steal from them JUST to make sure they didn't get anything (%70 of the time they fail apparently)

Speaking of Child Killer. I HATE how during some random encounters or random times you'll find a NPC whose sprite is a adult but is listed as a kid. This isn't a problem unless you get into a fight and blow away the wrong person. then Sulik hates you.
