What is a Daeodon ?

The Daeodon (Greek for "Dreadful Teeth") was a prehistoric animal of the same order as the modern-day boar, terrorizing North America between 29 and 19 million years ago. Reaching more than 2m tall with a skull of almost 1m long, this cloven-hooved carnivore and necrophage was the largest, most brutal and ferocious beast since the extinction of the dinosaur.
