. . i did this....


. . .because my copics are starting to rot, joke. (i rarely use them ; u ; )
no, i didn't buy them. i won them in some contest abroad and here in the Philippines

i only had two tones for every part...except for the hair(3 tones) and the bg(1 tone) also, i only drew this on sketch paper..i also don't have a colorless blender ; u ;

i just wanted to see how my style would look like with copics ; u ;

**this A5 illustration was used in my 2nd guessing game [link] wanted to see how ODIN would look like if he was a teenage boy in the present...and after experimenting with it...Hani has just realized....


that Hani....is the master of bad haircuts ; 7 ;

the winner was announced on the next journal > u <

i'd love to see more people participate in the next guessing game. the next one will definitely be difficult!

now i need to work on valentine WIPs ; u ; im really running late...too much work OTL

Thanks^^ well, i only have a 12 set that i won from a manga convention..then 19 ciaos from an online contest at canada 2 years ago..wow, i really wanna complete them too but i can't ask my parents for that xD too expensive! Time will come^^

ahaha, but i really don't want to waist it on such crappy art OTL i always end up feeling guilty using it for trash art like this..
how about instead of feeling pity for your dad, take it as a gift? i bet your dad really cares and supports you! he might not show it, but deep down, he does take up all the time he gives for you, spend it wisely^^ my dad and i rarely see each other because of work, or sometimes it's me who comes home late from school and hardly have the time to talk to him my dad's very supportive too, even though i don't really ask for anything, he would always remind me that he and my mom can't always provide the things that i need^^ so i strive hard and create connections, have resources. they taught me that. everything that i have right now came from all the resources and connection i've build with my friends^^ so don't feel bad taking the money from your dad, it came from God first right?

I feel like I can relate with you now. Well, my mom even says that I shouldn't brag telling my dad to buy me stuff since it looks like he's running out of money. Oh well, at least God just wants to give you a reward for something ^^

haha^^ well, my mom has little temper control, so i rarely tell her about it they don't even know i enter contests XD my dad once told me that everything that i have right, came from the people around me, and everything that they gave me came from God^^ dad once told me that i should change my stubborn and cold attitude towards everyone if i want to have lots of resources getting materials. it was hard for me at first, but eventually i did a little ^^ i started talking to my cousins and relatives^^
that's because i do this for God^^ i don't really care how much credit i get from people, as long as God Himself is credited the most^^ God has something similar for you, pray for it!

nice job with these copics, you did well even though you only had a few! for some reason, i have a lot of copics yet i can't color with them alone, i have to use colored pencil with them. argh i should learn how to do something like this, with only copics... but when i do it, it just looks like blobs of color thrown onto the paper and not smooth ;___;

this just needs some white paint to shine up the hair *shot*

thanks^^ im still a beginner with them ; 7 ; copics in my country are really expensive, that's why i take the opportunity to join contests that give them as prizes XD you should try starting with the lightest color, then blend them with the colorless blender (don't use the blender with the dark ones) i kinda learned that by watching videos^^ you should also try the special type of paper they use for copics..i just forgot what it's called

i didn't put shine cus i really thought it wasn't necessary to. it's like any other bonus illustration mangakas do

i have a colorless blender and IT DOESN'T WORK idk how to use it, other people use it just fine and it does nothing for me except mess up my colors and put a big blotch on top of them -___- so the colorless blender hates me specifically...

aaah i don't have that paper! haven't tried that. i have to try when i am able to buy some. thanks for the tip!!

thanks XD though it's almost been a year. i always wanted to use copics as my only media for manga illustrations..but im too poor lol

try watching videos at youtube about the colorless blender some of them say it's about the paper, the technique, the pressure and so on..

i think it's called the copic bleedproof pad? you can also try bristol boards..
