Bach is a little disappointed that more fans didn't show up for the CD signing...but he knows how to look on the bright side. And his biggest fan ever, Felix, is right there in line. Although the poor guy, like most of us if we ever get the chance to meet a celebrity, is a wreck. It was fun drawing Felix all freaked out about what he was gonna do when he came face to face with his idol...
HISTORY LESSON!!
Felix Mendelssohn was a big Bach fan. In fact, he revived Bach's music, which was just about totally forgotten by Felix's time. It's true, kidz!

You're welcome! I read a little online about a time Felix Mendelssohn went to London. Apparently, he was a huge Anglophile and behaved kind of like the proverbial "kid in a candy store".

LOVE i had the same exact feeling when I met the Backstreet Boys in 05 except that was the feeling inside my head and my entire body but i was cool calm and collected when i actually met them but when i got to school I was spazzing out like Felix OMG I MET BSB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so I know exactly how Felix feels

When you submit a new piece you just select that thing right at the end to make it available as a print. I think it costs a tiny bit to do that...In your case it would be worth it. You could make so much money

And yeah, I kinda figured out the print thing but I was thinkin for some reason you had to have a really high res scan to submit as a print. I scan at about 150dpi...

I have no idea if I ever mentioned this, but I just love the way you draw Bach. To be honest, it's helped to make me interested in his music again.
And this comic was just so great. The colored version is eye-popping in places, particularly Felix going nuts in the second-to-last panel and Bach in the last panel.
And it's such a charming joke as well.

Hey, when the art's this good, why not consider them educational aids? Shoot, so long as enough reality is mixed in with the zany, you could find yourself teaching people about the virtues of classical music.

hehe, that's about how it went when i met Megadeth back aroun 99. [well except for the " you're my biggest fan" part. lol!]
i was getting a picture of their mascot i drew signed by em. adnthey were all telling me they thought it was good and everything and Marty Friedman told me i was "quiet the artist" and Dave Mustaine, who's been my favorite musician my WHOLE LIFE told me it was very good and i shook his hand and i couldnt find my way out afterwards!haha! man i'm goin into fangirl mode even just talking about it. [as im sure you can tell] went about the same way when i met Anthrax a few years ago too.haha! man whatta rush!
