Description
Alder had been meandering around the forest, keeping an eye out for any other ponds, lakes, or some such that would be an easier trip than the one on the forest's surface. After a while of tracking a creek, something else caught his eye. One of the larger trees had a hole burrowed into it and a strange light was coming from inside. After staring at this blankly for a lengthy stretch of time, he hesitantly wandered inside. Something about the room shimmering in gold sent the apathetic loon straight to awestruck. Up ahead, a carved tap was lodged firmly into the tree, pouring rose-colored sap into a glittering bowl clutched in swirling roots below. What happened next was beyond him. All he could remember was coming to on his way back to camp, feeling lightheaded and oddly floaty. Shaking his head, he decided to report his find, but gently skip over whatever happened to him. It would probably be fine.
Hey, man, maybe don't mess with them really old relics n' stuff
