I really love this image. If you dont want people to steal your stuff and print it then you shouldnt upload the full size image..

That's very true - I'm an idiot. But at the same time, I want people to enjoy the fullview. It's a shame I would have to take that away just because a small minority are art thieves.

Really like this work LadyAdler - the story, the Nouveau style, it is wonderful.

What a different take on the basic story. Very well painted in art nouveau style too.

I love the womanly outline combined with the stylized coloring, it reveals and conceals her all at once. Abstract, yet human and corporeal all at once. I really dig this.

that reminds me of when i was little and i'd go to the pool with my friends and we would pretend we were mermaids when we were in the water but our fins would disappear if we left the water

Wow, for a short story, that was very moving, as is the picture. I can really see all of the fishes' desire, and her sorrow of no one understanding her, besides the flying fish. Great choice of colors by the way; I like how you used a lot of green for the water instead of the usual blue.

Thank you! I always pictured it green for some reason. Glad I managed to convey emotion through this piece - I usually suck at that!

Beautiful concept, and the execution is marvelous. I love that she is human outside of the water, but her submerged body (just her ankles/feet) is that of a mermaid. So great, as usual!

I keep my admiration on your graphic art. New congratulations. You shouldnΒ΄t be annoyed someone published your work without your consent. It was not for commercial reasons and IΒ΄m grateful I met your work through said publication. I say so in order to prevent you from starting an argument. Site is TUMBLR.com, page is called fuckyeahdisneyfanart. (I mean it! itΒ΄s called that way. And I subscribed when I saw your things. Kisses. Thanks. Keep on creating beauty for Humankind.

Heh heh, I couldn't do a tutorial because my edition of Photoshop is too old. But I might do a colouring step-by-step thing if that helps?
