manip - made with the Mad Hatters societys 'Family' contest theme in mind ....there is a pretty weird thing that happened when I made this - as soon as I started getting a little creeped out by the children in the photo, the computer suddenly wouldn't let me do any more to the manip.....so here it is as far as I was allowed to go with it.

The first thing I thought of looking at this was man those kids are creepy loking, I got chills up my spine, and I'm not easily scared being into ghost hunting. The mask reminds me of the movie The Shining where those creepy ghosts in the hotel had masks on, the sepis tone coloring makes it even more creepy.

Ok...but your gonna think I'm weird...but here goes. Our house is so haunted.....at once we had 4 ghosts and had photo proof of them. Ex. I got this pic of sis in the front room...turning on the TV and beside her is a pic of a skeleton....yes a skeleton running beside her. We even went as far as taking to a chiropractor and he asked us where the hell did we get this? He said that was like a complete x-ray of a backbone and pelvis! Freaky huh? I've got alot more....like a pick of a man in a coffin in our bathroom..that's later. Our house is over 100 years old and when you ask me to take some pics of our property, I was afraid something would show up. That's why I never did it and I was afraid you'd make fun of me if I told ya. Later!

The worst one I experienced myself was when a shadow (that was 3d like a fully grown adult, not flat like a shadow on the wall) dropped from the roof and was 'stood' directly behind me - I had my head turned and saw it perfectly. It scared the life out of me and we all started to wonder if it was the same thing that was turning the tv over and turning the volume up to max loudness....it was when I lived in this weird old place on the top of a hill - the highest point in our town...so many weird things happened there. It turned out that there was a guy that once lived there that relished in playing practical jokes on people and he had train sets running through all the rooms, going through walls and stuff. ...freakin' scary place to be alone!!

Sweet... I'd love to see that pic. Actually, we have something like the shadow that's in our house. It's a cowboy that only shows up in reflections and believe in or not when he shows...something good happens. Like I seen him the day before I got my comic job...I call him my good luck charm! A train that runs through the house..that's creepier than the ghost! Ours have actually calmed down a bunch...but it got so bad we had this one spirit thta was PURE evil. My mom was washing dishes one day and a knife literally "floated" off the cabinet.....and flew into the ground right beside her feet! The scariest damn thing I have ever seen. With this spirit...stuff was always flying off selves, lights flickering, electronic toys going off by themsevles, my NIntendo would always come on by itself...wierd stuff like that. We finally got rid of it though.. a friend of ours did it for us and it worked!
Now we know it's just my grand parents left. Well....you think I'm a freak now...is this the last your going to write ot me? I've lost alot of friends over it thinking I'm insane....untill a "good" friend of mine came over one day and made fun of it. He found out quick it was real. A window shut behind where he was sating REALLY hard! He never came back. Later!

Ooo I've heard of ghost trains - they say they have a lot to do with static thats made a sort of 'video recording' and they reappear when conditions are right! And no, I so do NOT think you're a freak!!! - I wouldn't be so sure if it wasn't for the fact that I've seen some of the weirdest things with my own eyes!!

wow..although it's a photo manpi mainly.... it sort of reminds me of some of the work Dave McKean(izit?) did for sandman..very surreal fantasy.. o.O

I love the concept! And maybe your computer was telling you, "this is it!" because I think it's excellent! You created a fascinating deviation that's also very creepy!
