"I promise to stop beating the other kids up if you let me keep him!"ooo
A young Torah, an even younger Siddhartha, and the mysterious parental figure they call "Father". Torah has just literally dragged Siddhartha - who she's just found - home to ask if she can keep him.
Torah's cybernetic implants are different here, and I did that on purpose. I reasoned that if I was going to make her look like a child, then I would have to find a way to put this scene into what is "canon" for the Light Brigade. So, I came up with this:
When they emerged from their stasis pods, the Light Brigade members had the mentality and physically looked like children. But children grow up. However, their cybernetic parts won't always "fit". It's like buying a new pair of shoes. When their bodies grow, they have to find an able mechanic to build new implants because they can't really live without them.
Yeah. That's what I got.
Even though Torah's so darn serious when she's older, I think when she was a kid she was a huge tomboy who'd go out and beat up the neighbourhood kids and roll around in the mud and stuff like that.

It's a bit of a long story, but
Oh, God, I feel like I'm about to ramble into the whole plot of the Light Brigade and I don't want your ears to explode from boredom. I seriously need to start posting the story to dA, but it's in the middle of major editing right now and I want to go to the trouble of posting illustrations with it.
ANYWAYS. How to summarize...?
Long story short: no, he isn't an orphan, and he and Torah are actually biological siblings, and in turn they're related to Antauri, though they are not his children. I think "clones" would be a better description of what they are.
It's such a long story. XD I get too involved in these characters. Maybe I should create a chart!
I'm actually thinking I might create a comic revolving around this picture. I want to draw Torah's missing front tooth some more!
