Description
Temeraire from the book series with the same name. This is how I imagine him. Used several hours on this. Not quite sure if it`s complete, might do some changes later..

Looks nice. That's about the size I see him as too. But isn't he a bit too thin? and isn't the wing lether the best to be more attached to the side? a lot or air will flow through that spot if he was going to fly..
Furthermore, he looks nice and I love the beutiful blue markings

Yes he is a bit thin, and would propably fly better with some adjustments to his wings. You`re absolutely right. My main thought with this drawing is to show others how I think he looks like. Mostly his markings and his colours. Colud be a little bigger as well. Since he`s a chinese breed I think of him as a slender type, alot like the dragons on chinese paintings and so on. I love this portrayal of Temeraire! I do think he is a little too thin (remember, he is the largest dragon in the British Aerial Corps besides the Regal Coppers!), but compared to a British breed he would be thinner. My impression of him is more of a (I'm going to use dog breeds as a comparison) German Shepherd build, versus more of a Great Dane; longer and slimmer, but kinda the same general height.
