So, I just saw this clip...and like, fifty others. HURRY UP, MAY 4th!!! GAAAH!!!
Oh...kay. Alright...I'm okay. He seems so much more menacing and psychopathic than his appearance in "Thor," which makes sense because he's a bonafide villain now. "Thor" was just his and Thor's origin stories. But now, going up against the Avengers, he needs all the menace he can get.
Plus, his new armor is really hot.
Also, notice on the sort of shadow-thing from "unlimited power" that's on his face...the lighter part reads "limited." Little hidden messages in my art...
~Soon, very soon, "The Avengers" will come out. But it doesn't belong to me. Joss Whedon is one of my gods, though.
And, as always, it's not about good or evil...it's about POWER. (That bit's from Buffy...a little tribute to the Joss.)

he also knows how to make a character awesome by accident. Example: Spike was supposed to die after a few episodes, but after realizing his popularity, he let him live, though he killed him off but resurrected him.
Same case with Loki. After the Avengers, now 90% of people who want to watch Thor Dark World is because of Loki.

Me, too! *ponders* What might work is if Loki does win, and has everyone at his mercy, but then he deliberately throws his victory away to save Thor's life, with Thor and the other Avengers knowing that's what happened.

Loki might get angry enough sometimes to THINK he wants his brother dead, but if he were faced with the reality -- or even just the immediate possibility of it -- I'm sure he'd realize he couldn't bear to lose Thor forever. I hope. *wibbles*
