Description
A trip this morning to the peat bog at Etang de Hanau. Hoping to get a shot of one or other of the end-of-season dragonflies. I saw two in all... Including this tiny specimen of (I think) Ruddy Darter. If any Odonata specialist can confirm or rectify my identification...
As always for dragonflies, I used my good old Canon 300mm f/4 L. A remarkable lens, light, with a minimal distance of 1,5m, very suitable for proxy-photography. No longer on the market and not replaced. What happened to the small, affordable L lenses, Mr. Canon?
