So, this is my beast entry for 's contest. And a beast it is indeed. I tried to make an evolution for Chinchou that actually looked like it. So, here it is...

Name: Uglumos [ugly+lumos]
Type: Water, Electric
Species: Angler Pokemon
Ability: Volt Absorb
Egg Group: Water 2, Monster
Evolution: Chinchou >lv. 27> Lanturn

Uglumos' light attracts microscopic algae on the sea floor, so its fins are covered with them. The greener Uglumos' fins, the older it is. The markings on its body glow in a way that it fools the eye, so it looks like it is swiming really fast. The truth is that Uglumos is pretty slow.
