Description I've been experimenting with making my own wet marker brushes in Photoshop for some time and finally had a brush that gave decent results so I gave it a go and this was the result. It may not look exactly like a physical marker drawing (I would love to be able to simulate Copics in PS), but I can live with it. I think I'm going to give the digital oils look a break and stick with this style for a while (it's growing on me).

I am becoming slowly very impressed with how far photoshop has come with making the art look like it has been with traditional tools. I really like this piece you did. Her expression is neutral siding with a tinge of sadness. Is she sad for the Dove?

I wanted to maintain the look on her face from the reference photo as I decided to basically do a closer view. I didn't really mean to send any message by it, but now that you mentioned it, it does look like she's sad for the dove. Maybe because it's going back in a cage. Thanks for your kind comments.

I do not comment much, but when I do - I do it kindly.
