My best friend let me get up close and personal with my macro lens for this shot. Look at the "weave" in her eyes.Related content

I used a 60 mm macro lens on a Canon 7D and had my model sit back in the chair so as to keep her movement down to a minimum. The best way is to have the subject lean his or her head against something solid and use a tri-pod, because with this type of lens even a fraction of an inch could be the difference between focusing on the good part of the eye and the eyelashes lol
