I HAVE A LOT OF THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS. I will try to sum them up here without writing a three page novel...

This commission went above and beyond my expectations. You took my concept and brought it life in a way I never dreamed an artist could do!   To say I love this piece is simply not enough, so let me list off some of my thoughts.   

First off let's talk about the characters!!!   Just like I predicted, these gorgeous males were made for your style. Lucas has such PRETTY eyes!!! Goodness I adore how you colored them. And his hair looks so fluffy!!!   Between that and his coat (WHICH I LOVE HOW IT FLOWS OUT BEHIND HIM BTW, THAT IS JUST SUCH A FANTASTIC TOUCH. I STILL SQUEAL EVERY TIME I LOOK AT HOW FABULOUS HE LOOKS IN HIS SPIFFY OUTFIT) He has the perfect charming mix of classy and mischievous. His expression paints that picture as well and gives us this sassy vibe. I can just imagine what he's saying to Camilo, as he nudges him along.   COME ON HAVE SOME FUN HAHAHA speaking of Camilo!!!  My precious pouty boy! I want to squish your cheeks because goodness he needs to smile.  You can tell from his stiff posture, how he's dressed, and ofc his big frown that he is here for STRICTLY BUSINESS! His little cute notebook and how he holds it so protectively says so much about how he's taking this fun festival VERY SERIOUSLY for his article. (Aside on Camilo and his detailed design,I forever admire how you fix and tweak the details on his outfit!!! I know he has so many but seeing the final result is such a marvel. I could stare at his shiny silver decorations all day!       ) AND FINALLY LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST MENACHEM   Goodness he is definitely too pretty for his own good. I am swooning over his luscious, lovely hair! His inviting smile and how he has a hand on Camilo's shoulder is also so utterly in character!   I can only imagine where he's trying to lead Camilo. I bet Lucas and Camilo have a long list of fun things in mind, I only open Camilo agrees to at least some of them! Surely it would enhance his article. No one wants a boring article about a festival   

SPEAKING OF THE BACKGROUND, CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS. Wow. Wow.        Where to begin. I always say a background can make or break a piece and this background only improves the overall quality. Not only have I never seen such a beautiful and truly magical festival, but I never expected to see one in one of my pieces!  I feel every time I look I notice something different. From the beautiful, shimmery fishies in the front, to all the flying fairies around in the air, to the pumpkin mannequin, the colorful tents, the cotton candy seller, the bunny!!!!   It's so hard to pick a favorite because I love them all! 

TO CONTINUE THE TOPIC OF THE BACKGROUND, THE OTHER SURPRISE IN THERE...wow. First off I really appreciate how you drew lots of people running around. It would not bode well for the festival in such a large city to have no one walking around it, but I know even drawing random people takes time! So I am so grateful you took the time to add lots of cute girls with such simplistic but still fitting designs. Like the angel wings on the girl at the cotton candy stand and the CUTIE WITH THE PIKACHU LIKE EARS!  They are all such welcome additions to the piece! And seeing them so happy only makes me all the more sure that this festival is fun and successful! I wish I could be there with them but I'll just watch from afar   


 AND WHO ELSE SHOWS UP IN THIS CROWD, BUT LYSANDER AND SKOWNAN?!   I literally screamed and promptly fell off my chair when I finally turned to their part of the piece.    I have never had an artist truly offer such a precious and memorable surprise. I never expected you to remember them, so their inclusion literally made this already BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL piece INFINITY BETTER. Not only does it make the piece that more special to me, and ofc it fits their world...but just to think you still remembered them after all this time and thought to include them in such a small but crucial part to this piece...just brings me to tears!   You already put so much love into the background but to see you go above and beyond and include two more ocs I cherish and love so dearly is just TOO KIND FOR WORDS.    

Now onto your technique which is without a doubt your best yet!!! As usual your coloring literally makes this piece POP.    I love how you color, line, and shade the three main characters to make them stand out. That's quite impressive when you have such an eye catching and beautiful background behind them, especially one with a crowd. I know the background must have especially taken so much time, with all of those details, but you didn't let your quality suffer. Both the characters and the background had so much thought, love, and care put into them    So good thing I have all the time in the world to appreciate both the beautiful men AND the pretty background!   

Honestly this is probably one of my top favorite commissions ever!!! Just everything is flawless about it!   I want to be buried with this piece, dang it, someone get my a lawyer so we can put this in my will   

Okay this comment has gotten rather long so I'll end with a billion thank yous again for this piece! I really feel I can't say thank you enough but I'm doing my best to send you at least a fraction of those I owe you  I really really really appreciate all the time and effort you put into bringing my characters and this concept to life.  I cannot wait to commission you again!!! I have endless ideas for your very talented hands (which I hope get lots of rest now too!!!)
