Description And this is a piece i drew a while back that I never shared. There's actually a cool story attached to this picture. When I was in Texas for a convention, I showed my portfolio to Jonathan Glapion (inker on Batman for Greg Capullo) to get some advice about my pencilling technique for inkers as well as sound advice from a professional. He was looking through my portfolio and while he was talking with me, he had a personal phonecall. So while he was on this call, he was still flipping through my portfolio and pointing at pieces that he thought were cool. He stopped at this piece, told the person on the other line that he would call them back and just started at this picture for a bit and smiled. He said "This looks fun to ink" and started getting closer to the image to look at the linework. I laughed and said I get that a lot from inkers, that my pencils look fun to ink and what that truly means. He said that already, just by looking at the picture, he could imagine what brushes and lineweights and techniques he could see himself doing on it. That really blew my mind. Hopefully one day I can get him to ink some work of mine.

Great story. Honestly, I think the same thing every time I look at your pencils.
