Johnn 4:36-37 "And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’ "

Regardless of who ends up sowing or reaping, patience is required in order to enjoy the fruits of the labor. If the sower quits to soon then by harvest time there might not be enough, or just enough to get by. If the one who reaps reap to soon then the fruit will not be ripe and thus sour.
