Hello and (belated) Happy New Year!Here's a personal piece that I started working on before Christmas. Meet KΓΌl, my new entry into the world of Mortal Kombat. Think along the lines of Scorpion or the old version of Reptile where, underneath their flesh, lies a body of power and energy. KΓΌl has lovely molten lava under his and when he uses it, his skin burns and flakes away like ash in the wind. Pretty nifty!
Maybe I could post this character as an official unused character art, begin a revolution of complaints as to why he wasn't used, and somehow get him put into the next installment of Mortal Kombat. Hm... we can only try.
You heard it here first dear viewers. Let the revolution begin!

Great character concept. Though I think there are well enough characters as is in the mk universe there is always room to expand. Saw alot of silly characters but this on is dark and gritty wich I like. I'm a man who enjoy a character that is awesome but does not over do it. though I can totally see this character beginning somewhere an evolving into this. anyway faved
