DeLonge don't settle for less than total multimedia domination. Erotic novels, movie adaptations of those erotic novels, ice cream bars, children's television, whack random [adult swim] shorts airing at ass o' clock in the morning/stoner o' clock at night, an entire Mexican restaurant chain, whatever needs to be done.

The Poet comic looks great though , the short was big on action but less on worldbuilding so I'm hyped for learning more about the setting. Only three issues though! I just want a band to get a monthly comic out for once. I can settle for a quarterly! Or an annual? Whatever, more band comics, that's what I'm trying to say.

It's somewhere between "Wait, what?" and "What have I gotten myself into?"

*sees Poet comic icon* I'm really looking forward to that starting, there's so much the short film didn't get into in terms of backstory so I really want to see it. Only three issues though? Most other band based miniseries I've seen are about five. (I think there's supposed to be a full graphic novel afterwards though?) I'd definitely recommending looking into the Fall Out Toy Works comic miniseries and The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys comic miniseries if you got the chance. Fall Out Toy Works is probably the closest to Poet AND it's all online to read .

Oooh, me too!  Especially like you said, I'd also like to see some world-building, especially outside of Genesis.  Don't get me wrong, the city looks amazing and I can't wait to (hopefully) see it more in the comics alongside Poet's family life, but I'd want to see more environment.  I wouldn't mind reading and seeing about a sanctuary for those who are thrown into a coma and are incapable of fending off Night Terrors and Night Stalkers on their own. 

Holy crap, I had no idea that Fall Out Boy released a comic.  You've intrigued me!  Thank you for the link.
