Drawtober day 13: prompt "Thirteen"

It's Friday the 13th so I decided to curse myself with trying to remember how to make gifs.. arggh.
Doing some worldbuilding for vampire hunter's world too.

"Church's ability to deter undead monsters depends on lifetime of servitude of the Holy Ones and their knights. The paired up Light Maiden and her protector wander the country and purge the cursed ones lurking in the night or defend the cathedrals if needed. The number of people fit for this duty is small, so the untimely un-death of the thirteenth Light Maiden was quite a tragedy. Rumor says that the dishonored knight took up new mantle of a vampire hunter."
