Okay, so her family was all killed by bandits, and the police force in her village was corrupt, so it happened without anyone caring or helping. She was sure she was going to kill herself, but instead devoted herself to Jashin. When she met Hidan, she thought he was the messiah, so promised her life to him. Then she found out that he as an evil tyrant with a heart the size of an ingrown pea. No, she doesn't love him, he doesn't love her. Essentially, she's his slave for her long, eternal life.
