Well, I know that the Prrincipality of Moscow was a type of Client State of the Mongol Khanate of the Golden Horde. In many Regards Moscow was favored by the Mongol Leaders to spread rivalry among the Conquered Russian Principalities. A clever way to rule. Divide et impera, divide and rule. They were conquerers, with a considerible tolerant and interesting culture.

ItΒ΄s just sad that in some regards, the Mongols, Tatars and other Steppe people are demonized by Russians who donΒ΄t know better.

I think by that time its hard to define the events but looking from present time, Moscow win lots of things from that time period. Its a development for human race in many ways. Now Russia is centred around it and getting into something ..., I hope this brings good things to all of us.
