I Have, Of Course, Heard Wind That The Fur Community (Furmmunity) Is A Highly Lucrative Market, So 👀 Thus I Join The Soulless Endlessly-Copulating Orgy Of Capitalism 👀👀

REF SHEET + ILLUS for a friend who gave pretty much zero brief, which actually made this a really enjoyable venture! My design sensibilities never gelled with every furry/sparkledog face of the 2000s, so ten years after learning where I'm positioned in relation to that, I've decided to embrace my weaknesses. And anyway these gross animals are supposed to be representative, some might say, a personification, or persona, of oneself; and I have always been known for guessing at people pretty well - so I just went for something modest, which felt like it most suited him anyway. Watermark just in case furries steal it??? Which is assuming very highly of my art, but I've always thought apitude in furry style (ftyle) had a particularly long tail hjnkdf so I'm solidly self-assessing within the 49%.

Because he also gave me zero brief for the final illus & I knew furry anime (fanime) was already pretty well within my comfort zone for once, I got to envision something that moderately tested my skills & workflow without feeling too overwhelming for <$40. Which makes me extra happy that all elements turned out pretty much a perfect success!!! Aside from meticulously attempting to map out the light casting in advance then realising after I was entirely done that that's not how it works actually ashdfkjsdfa

That's My Furry Art (fart)! I don't really have any more instances to upload of my gradual transformation into a furry, that is, in the fully metaphorical and non-loaded sense of the word. I've said it before, all I think of these animal peoples is they are cute n fun & tap into a bit of the classic "animal as metaphor" of folkloric literature. Doesn't quite work if enough unextraordinary nerds oversaturate the market with edgy and/or sexy dogs/cats/foxes of course. But in my house you can be a god damn chinchilla or giraffe or spotted hyena & that actually means something.

And I will be open for future furrymissions but likely closer to the end of the year! I have a backlog currently I'm doing very poorly on. Email me same username/hotmail or note me here, but expect a slow reply if the latter.
