i was hacked when i found out that Mello wouldn't have died in the end. what i think they should have done was make Mello and Near confront Light together, cause i think of the wammy boys as parts of L. so when they decided to kill Mello, to me it was like they were killing off a part of L.
I'm okay with Matt being a short-lived minor character. Fanfics will fill in for his part in the story (even if some of it is yaoi, which annoys me. I am a very anti-yaoi person)
as for L being ugly, i don't think that's quite right. i think they said that they wanted to make L less attractive,as not to make him contrast with Light, not to make him ugly. in my oppinion, if Light is their example of attractiveness, then changing L's apperance was an improvement. i wouldn't like my Lawlie any other way :3

they the authors made an extra dethnote chapter which takes place years later after the origonal story. and within the chapter it has a brief flash back with all of the wammy kids when L visited the house.

i always knew L was supposed to be ugly, cos of the way people looked at//treated him, but they didt do tooo good a job. i mean in the 'lets meet L' chapter he was wonky looking... but he got all smexy after that! and the writer from what i understand didnt have very good communication going with the artist.. what with mixing up M and N's characters and all (booyah, floundered through the japanese 13

I don't really think its real - random comic on the internet, theres no reason why it should be real plus it says some stuff which I don't think fits - but everyone seems so convinced.
