I'm done ages ago, but I never really tried to exploit Cicero... I mean, I watched him walking around and he looked so busy... it made me think that he was taking care of some stuff... like looking after the torture chamber. Oh you sneaky Cicero!!! Just letting you know, Cissy's a pretty decent killer as long as you give him heavy enough armour, and a shield. He's good with one-handed weapons and staffs, but he doesn't have great armour. Personally, I give him semi-heavy armour (like Stormcloak officer, or Blades armour), boots that have some sort of sneaking benefit, a shield, and either ebony or glass swords. He rocks pretty hard with that stuff.
I've had him as my companion for a really, really long time, and I love him. You just have to give him the right stuff. (:
