Since "draw X in Y style" things are fun I decided to try that on my own character Beta. This was in the summer of 2011 or something like that. And like all my projects tend to do it escalated from "I'll draw her in some ten series" to "Ahahaha I now have like 60 source series!!!". Since drawing more stuff for this project has turned more and more sporadical and the oldest drawings that are a year and a half old are starting to look pretty outdated, ugly and/or difficult to recognise I decided that it'd be best to call quits on this one and just publish what I have drawn until now.I still have serious plans on this project, but when I have time for that I'll have to redraw like half of the stuff in here. And by that time I've of course seen 20 new series that have to be included as well, and when I'm done with them the oldest drawings are outdated again... the vicious circle continues.
Writing the source series straight to the picture would probably be more convenient for the viewer, but since the guinea pi- test person enjoyed guessing the series I'll give you the chance to do the same (just please don't start listing "I recognise X Y Z and A and maybe B too" in the comments).

I think you have a really good grasp of other artist's styles, and you understand what they do to distinguish themselves and it really shows in this. I also think that you're incredibly creative and stylistically. I enjoy these and your redesigns massively; they're very interesting and show your skills.

Wow!! This is amazing! My favorites are Panty and Stocking, Lucky Star, Pokemon and pretty much all the magical girls. Beta looks so cute as a Magical girl!

That was the plan, along with reference pictures from the source series for comparison, but since the project was kinda cancelled I'm not sure if I'll bother.

Wow, you can draw with so many different styles. I can`t achieve certain styles, even though I`d have reference pictures. This is interesting work. I`d like to do something similar for my own characters someday.

Wait, what happened to the fluffiness of her hair!? It's so... flat and almost... NORMAL. *shudders* I mean, I LOVE it in some styled like Koge Donbo's and Detective Conan's, but otherwise it looks a little.... I don't know, I'm just probably used to Beta with hair that goes "POOF!".

It's supposed to be imitating the art and designs in the source series. If the series didn't depict wavy/curly/whatever hair as overly poofy I couldn't draw that either, since I didn't want to take the "my character is special, the internal rules of the series don't apply to her!" route.
