Description "'I don't do requests' also means that I'm not interested in your idea, suggestion, recommendation or 'just saying' either."

Some people like to ask other artists to draw them stuff for free. I don't like it, but this stamp isn't about that (there already are some of those [link] [link] ). This stamp is about people who try to get away with their request by playing with words. Like "can you draw me dbz? just a suggestion" "I was just wondering if you could draw bleach?" "not a request, but have you heard of kingdom hearts? I think it'd be fun if you drew it."

It's one thing if you send me requests when I've said I don't do them. But it's even more annoying if you try to pass yourself as some friendly helper who kindly suggests that I should draw some series because I couldn't possibly think of how to waste my free time myself, and of course the only reason you're sharing your awesome idea is that you genuinely only think of how much fun I'd have drawing it and the fact that the series in question just happens to be one you like is purely coincidental~~~

Sure, there are artists who do take requests and like getting ideas from other people. That is cool. But there are also people who don't, and you should just accept that. If someone says "I don't take requests", I think it's a bit unlikely that they'll draw you whatever you want just because you were smart enough not to use the word "request".

Or are you seriously expecting something like this:
"Can you draw me [insert your favourite series here]?"
"I don't do requests."
"It was just a suggestion."
"Oh, that changes everything! Why didn't you say it right away, I'll start at once!"

And no, this stamp isn't about constructive criticism. There is a difference between "You draw feet too large, I suggest you study anatomy a bit more" and "I suggest that you draw _____ which just coincidentally happens to be my favourite series!".

Imagine getting hundreds of letters in your mailbox every day for years, and every single one of those letters is telling you to dress a certain way, because that's what other people want you to do.
Well this is exactly like that. See how it could get annoying after a while?

I'm more grateful to those who can show their appreciation in some other way than commenting "give me free stuff!".

That may be true, but consider her situation if you will: You have plenty of ideas of your own floating around in your head and are not looking for suggestions, But every day you are flooded with comments and notes asking you to draw something for them. It starts to feel like people are not actually appreciating you, especially when you have explicitly stated you DO NOT take requests!
That doesn't seem like A situation I'd want to be in, would you?
