you should fix those uneven highlights on the main building, top left burnt and bottom right blown.

otherwise i think its fanstastic.

haq In reply to Rom3o [2009-02-23 07:33:57 +0000 UTC]

how should I fix this ?? any suggestions ??

and thanks

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rom3o In reply to haq [2009-02-23 10:02:38 +0000 UTC]

everyone has there own methods so some might argue with mine, an excellent person to ask if you disagree with my method is damien.

i quite simply would use the brush tool, a really soft brush, select an appropriate size to match what ever % you are viewing the image, then use darken or lighten or burn to gently brush those areas.

so i would use white brush, with low opacity, soft brush, and just brush the dark areas to try make them the same brightness as the rest.

then use a dark brush to do the bright areas.

this is the easiest way to fix the image once you have already tonemapped it and cant be fucked re doing that part.

otherwise just use layermask, adjust the levels to fix that area, then erase the excess with soft eraser.
