i wish i could color like you but i suck at it-if i try i just might ruin it T_T

i used watersoluble color pencils, some very basic ones. so i just shaded the pic with them and then washed it with brush and then shaded a little more with pencils again.

This reminds me of illustrations from storybooks I loved as a kid. The lighting, lines and colors are very warm and inviting (hard, sleek lines have their place, but I love more suggestive linework that hints at textures and natural imperfections) and the picture itself just invites you to walk in and touch stuff! If I were a kid, I would stare at this for, like, an hour. Imagining touching all the stuff and not getting yelled at.
