Wasn't sure this one was ever going to be finished, but now it is!
It was a bit of a learning experience, too, so I'm glad I did. Took the wings off the crown for simplicity's sake, but have more Elf Fillies in my WIP folder, and they very much still have the wings, ha...She's the goofball character of the (still unreleased) series Filly Funtasia, but she's also an Elf Filly, so I wanted to draw her looking fancy.
Couldn't resist playing with the contrast settings on this one, and the result really shines:

You know it's moved to B-Water studios yet? There's a new trailer out. Most of it is different shots of scenes we've already seen (Rose gesturing and talking to Zack before her signal blast, and her flying over Lynn and shining a bright light when they're near the cliff) but there's a sort-of fight scene with Battiwigs and an owl now. That's promising, too.
Oh, and it's in a different format now: 11 minute shorts, times 52. No longer thehalf-hour episodes we were promised, sadly.
Ah, well, maybe when it hits DVD's, we'll get some extended versions, right?

Don't worry, I told them and Fillychan already. Just a random find looking for material on Valt the Wonder Deer. It's also worth noting they're not listed as anything to do with production, only pre- and post at this point. So the mythical hard drive with Filly Funtasia material exists, and it is there, in Barcelona or their headquarters in Cologne.
Yeah, apparently they work from Cologne, too. There was a job ad and a review of their company saying they were good, but disorganised. No ship, Sherlock.

[Googles 'Valt the Wonder Deer'] ...Is this an attempt to cash in on the MLP/Simba's Pride kind of theme?
Not sure about the premise, but it's a magical quadruped adventuring, and that's neat! Thanks for the heads up.

It has shades of the Lion Guard, sure, but the plot is closer to Avatar: the Last Airbender. It's the Last Airbendeer! Some of the episodes are on Vimeo already, but very scattered, and possibly leaked. But that series has a finished first Season, the second Season's trailer has a different art style for the main character. He has irises and somehow looks younger for some reason, while everyone else stays the same. Very confuzzling.
Also, based on Chinese mythology for once. Three-eyed cat, some kind troll that eats colour called a Taotie, there's this ninja-esque anthro water beetle thing running around... it's new, in some sense at least.

I possibly should have spent more time shading the uploaded version, but it was a matter of just having it finally done so that I could move on. Better than it staying as a WIP for even longer!
Hopefully I'll get better at judging the contrast balance myself.
