Description
So, I was gone for two weeks (not sure how much relavence this has to the story), and my boyfriend, James, drew this for the cover of his new CD. He wanted me to color it, and I did. Wow. The end, by me.Wow, I sure thought there was more to the story than that. haha. Lesee... Nope. Oh, yeah, he quit his old band ot be in a band by himself, and he makes muxic on the computer to acompany him on the guitar. n__n
EDIT: Since it has been such a long time since this was created, and a few things have changed, I htink I ought to mention that first of all, he and I are not dating anymore. We ARE still friends though, and I enjoy letting him know that his art is still popular.

Nice picture! But why are you calling it a guiter, it looks a 5-string bass to me (and he's holding it the same way one would hold a bass, not a guitar, as well!)

This drawing is outstanding and color you choose..completely fits this drawing... using black white and grey is what made this artwork look amazing...but i think it could use a background..but it is good as it is.
Since being a guitar player myself...and seeing how well this work is done. Im adding this to my

I think you're right, but I also think it's a combination of the shirt, and the lack of shading on the right. What would you do to fix that?

Well, you should redo the shirt of the top, not everithing, just the right part, and put the ... oh shit can't explain it in words.
the..(i don't speak english as first language) part of a shirt where you put your arms... the.."hole", put the curve to the other side, instead of pointing to his heart, put the curve pointing to his shoulder. That shoul fix it.

I figured that's what you were gunna say, and this is not my line art. It's my boyfriend's. He drew it like that. I'm pretty sure he did that intentionally knowing that it would make it look funny. I think it gies the perspective a little twist, but I'll ask him about that next chance I get. n___n
