That is one gorgeous and healthy looking tokay, and I'd guess a male by how wide across his head is. I love toks, I have four, and two tokling eggies in the incubator.

Geckos are pretty awesome creatures. It's their feet that amaze me, the texture is pretty unique.
Yeah Tokays do have that reputation. The one we have at university cannot be handled by students unless they have a lot of experience. He's a feisty little guy.

Yeah, I love geckos! I'm still contemplating whether to buy crested geckos or leapard geckos, but it's an expensive undertaking (buying all the stuff you need to keep them).

I've heard crested geckos are a bit more entertaining, but leopards are easier to get hold of. But yeah... they are pretty expensive to keep. Might wait a few years before I get any sort of reptile

Same here. I like the crested geckos more, too (their wide grinning little faces), but they are quite a bit more difficult to keep (very sensitive to temperatures and humidity).
