Having read DC bombshells vols 1-3 and seen the amount of badass ladies conquering war torn europe I think you could give Berlin a run for it's money, not to mention bat some sense into some nazi gits!

Yes I read the series, I tend to read a lot of series my girlfriend gets me into. She got me into wonder woman so since it had wondie in it I was curious and I've developed admiration for Kate Kane since Batman Bad Blood so I'm keen to see more of her

It's really nice to see a guy that's really into reading these series that have strong female characters! I just now started getting the new Batwoman series (haven't had the chance to read yet though); the cover art is pretty great as well! Sadly one of my favorites series just ended; Silk. I'd recommended checking that series out if you haven't already. It's really well written and relateable.

I wasn't offended, I am sorry if I gave that impression. I am a personal lover of badass women so their series are of great interest to me. I am wary of marvel, DC is my preference but my girlfriend reads from both companies.

The only marvel books I read are the star wars and I don't think marvel have much to do with their writing

Ah, haha.
The series is one that's really emotional and raw. She has a strained relationship with her family, she has a lot of anger and emotional issues from past traumas and sees a therapist, she tries to figure out who she is and who she wants to be, and eventually tries to find happiness. I just think it's really well written and progressive as far as a comic goes.

To be fair I do know of the marvel stories, and I know of Silk thanks to tumblr and my girlfriend and I do agree she does sound like an interesting character. When me and my girlfriend move in together I will probably read the single issues of it, and I knew she was very sheltered (bunkered to be exact) and so coming into the world would be tricky enough WITHOUT Super powers.
