This one took waaaayyy too long to render. Trying to add the city background had me lowering resolutions of textures everywhere just to get it to fit on the graphics card. My processor was kind of handling it, but the processor can never get as detailed as I want it to.

One of these days I'll get a 3090 (or whatever the modern equivalent is at that point), and on that day I'll re-render everything I ever had to lower texture resolution on.

They parked and got out to head towards the buffet. Adie gazed around at the buildings, remarking, "This is the fancy area in town, eh?" Lynne also looked around, "Hopefully this buffet isn't too expensive," she responded. Adie's stomach growled loudly again, "Sounds like we'll get our money's worth either way though," Lynne teased. They chatted for a bit longer before they got to the door. There was a staff member behind a podium who looked as though he was bored out of his mind. Upon seeing the pair enter the establishment, however, his work persona kicked in and his face brightened up, greeting them loudly, "Welcome to the Gourmandise Buffet!" he boomed, "Will there be more joining you or shall I get you seated now?" Lynne gave the response, "Just the two of us today, thank you."

The greeter tapped on the tablet in front of him to enter them in. "All You Can Eat, or by the plate?" he asked. Adie and Lynne looked at each other. "What's the difference in price?" Adie queried. The greeter looked down at the tablet, "Well, All You Can Eat normally goes for $70 per person and you get the big plates, whereas by the plate is $20 per plate, $10 per bowl, and $5 per cup, no reusing dishes and you have to use the smaller plates." Adie and Lynne glanced at the buffet behind him. The big plates looked more like serving trays, while the smaller plates looked like they could barely hold a single food item. The greeter continued, "However, since you're here before 6PM, you still qualify for our Happy Hour pricing, which drops the All You Can Eat price to $50 per person." Adie's stomach growled loudly again. The greeter smiled, seeing this as the perfect opportunity to drive the point in, "Personally, I'd recommend the All You Can Eat if you're hungry." Adie and Lynne agreed that the All You Can Eat was the better move for them. They paid and headed in to the dining area.
