My Songstress costume! This is the Lenne version - the only difference is the earrings. I'm using this picture because I made the earrings myself; Melanie took care of any Yuna earring orders because of her Sculpey prowess. This costume was almost as popular as the Rikku one; I think mostly because it worked as two separate cosplays. I had multiple buy it along with both Yuna's earring and Lenne's earrings.Related content

I'm curious... would you bychance have the patterns for the blouse and ruffle-thing? I'm trying to make one of my own, but i have terrible searching skills, and am runnig out of time.
I look up Yuna Songstress, this was visible, i look, and i admire.

Awesome cosplay! Was browsin Google till i saw this. Nicely detailed, even down to the ruffles. But I never thought that those strands of bead would be earrings. I figured that those are beads in her hair. But I dig the strands too!

Well, actually, I just cut out the fabric in the shape it looked. :/ I had the fabric laid out on the floor and just cut it out that way. So...er...guess? XD

Have you done yours on the cross cut, like diagonal or just done it like normal ruffles? It would be grateful if you can tell me of what have you done it to make it like that or any help sheets that I can have to do so?

The skirts a bit long, but if someone actualy had to wear it, I cant blame you for making it longer. Yuna got really gusty about showing skin in X-2 for some reason ^^' I thought that those 'earings' were beads in her hair, my bad. This makes me want to get back into sewing.

That is beautiful only the 'earrings' are actually hair accessories. They are braids from hair from the back. If you look at a pic of her you can actually see her hair in braids and the beads going down.

Yeah I know, if you check my gallery I have them on a separate page and they are attached to hair elastics. I called them earrings just because that's an easier term. The ones I made were too heavy to be actual earrings anyway.

Seriously?? Yea, if I can get mine and my friend's to look that good that would be great! So you just got the materials wherever and made the skirt by yourself? And what did you do about boots? And what did you use for those arm sleeve things? Oooh I'm excited!

I didn't do the boots; I made the costume for someone else and they did the boots themselves. Any fabric store has plenty of sold colors that you can use to put together. The skirt is just a rectangle cut to the hip measurement, with a layer of lace over it, and a drawstring waistband.

Well, I used Simplicity pattern 9891 for the vest part (it's a full dress pattern, but you can just cut it short). The rest I just cut out how it looked in the image references. ^^ The black skirt is just a rectangle cut out longer than the hip measurement, then put elastic in the top.
