Just to clarify, no. This is NOT the end of the show itself. I made this art because I am leaving the fandom, due to certain issues. Anyway...

It has come to this. It is my own decision and my decision only. That's right. I am leaving the Gumball fandom. It will still hold a place in my childhood heart; but now, I must shift my focus to other western shows.

I believe I was 12 years old when I first watched The Amazing World of Gumball; heck, maybe even 11. I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me over time. I especially love the Watterson family and their various antics throughout each episode; most particularly Gumball and Darwin, the best of bros. Also, Anais is super cute, Nicole is such a badass mom, and Richard was weird; yet hilarious at the same time. I also liked the students, teachers and other minor characters; but I loved the Wattersons the most, especially their extended family members (Granny Jojo, Louie, Frankie, the Evil Turtle, Daniel and Mary).

It was announced that Ben Bocquelet; the creator of TAWoG, left production after Season 6. The supposed finale episode "The Inquisition" ended on a cliffhanger note, showing Rob falling into the Void as it freeze-frames on him; just like Banana Barbara's painting in the end of "The Future". There was no word from CN after this. Not even a big theatrical or TV movie to end the show on a high note. There is the upcoming "Darwin's Yearbook" miniseries and I'm looking forward to that (but I'm worried that it won't continue from The Inquisition, unless the writers surprise us); but until then, I've outgrown the show and it's colorful cast of diverse characters and art styles.

Thank you all. Thank you for supporting me and my TAWoG fanart. But for now, I must venture to other shows in Cartoon Network. Feel free to suggest some that I may or may not give it a watch. I'd like to give one last farewell to the crazy family consisting of two pink rabbits, two blue cats, and a walking goldfish. Farewell, The Amazing World of Gumball. You will always hold a place in my heart and memories.
