Description
From the Doctor Who story 'Power of the Daleks'The newly regenerated Doctor arrives on the planet Vulcan and poses as an Earth Examiner. A capsule containing Daleks has been discovered and the scientist Lesterson reactivates the Daleks, seeing them as a labour saving device that will help the colony. Big mistake.

This is gorgeous, love the lighting! His facial expression is perfect. It was during this instant while watching Power of the Daleks that I fell in love with the 2nd Doctor, even if it was only a recon of the original serial. Seeing this picture reminds me of that and makes me feel giddy like I'm watching it all over again.

'Vulcan' isn't that unique as a planet name. I think it was a name for a postulated planet in our Solar System.
Since 'Star Trek', though, nobody dares use it.

The always draw the 2nd Doctor with his recorder, its adorable. Wonderful Picture, by the way, must have had a lot of time put into it!

It saddens me that I only got to see a shoddy reconstruction of this story (indeed most of Troughton's stories), but I think that makes it all the more impressive that, even though I didn't get to see him in action as much as I'd like, he is still one of my favorite Doctor's and Jamie is still one of my favorite companions.

In my head, this image represents EXACTLY how an animated version of Power ought to look. Then I realise that it may never be animated at all, let alone look like this.

As you might know, there's an animated reconstruction out now.
IMO, they should get animators for 'Trigun' for that, but I'm pretty sure that would break the budget.
