Description Moonbase - a Doctor Who serial from (ooh I don't know, I haven't got the programme guide to hand but, at a guess..) early 1967.

Starring Patrick Troughton as the time travelling Doctor.

Ther TARDIS materialises on the moon, where the Doctor and his companions see a far off moonbase. Romping across the landscape towards it, the inexperienced 18th century Highlander Jamie comes a cropper when he leaps too far. He is taken to the base to recover. Meanwhile the Doctor and his other companions; Ben and Polly are soon embroiled in a plot that involves cybermen beseiging the base.

Amazing piece of art!!! Me and my friend mistook it as a comic-strip at first but I realised it was from The Moonbase and I was genuinely shocked by the quality!!! Amazing

This is my favorite Troughton story. I must have read the Target book 5 or 6 times as a kid. What a beautiful work of art you've done

God this is beautiful! Will you ever do a graphic novel of a missing episode like the scene from above?

I'd like to. Finding the time for such a massive project is the problem.

Don't have to apologise. I'm flattered that you should ask. I'd like to do a graphic novel of a classic Who story, but which one?

I'm not sure. Possibly The Daleks Master Plan/Mission to the Unknown?

Mission to the Unknown is a good idea. Nice and short, but a great episode.

Yeah. I'm not sure what it was about, except it was only one episode and neither the doctor or his companions appeared in it.

It's a good episode with some creepy moments and the possibilty of some epic visuals. I did a Varga plant painting which is my gallery.

Oh yeah! I saw that! But would you do both Mission and Master Plan together? According to Doctor Who Magazine, it serves as a prequel before Master plan.

I suppose one should, although that is a massive undertaking.

That is amazing!
Ben and Polly aren't really "embroiled".
Polly spends a lot of the episode making hot beverages for everyone.
Some people wearing silly hats make the weather change.
There are scientists there from various countries, working together.
And the Cybermen come up with another mad scheme, they're almost as bad as the Daleks.
Though my favourite scene in this story is when a hole gets blasted out of the dome which decompresses (rather convincingly), the Doctor stuffs it with a jumper of something (it doesn't hold) and uses a tray to seal the hole. Brilliant.

My favourite scene is from one of the missing episodes, when the guy in the darkened storage room is feeling around for stuff and finds himself fondling a Cyberman. The audio book narrated by Annekke Wills does a good job recreating the scares of that first encounter. Also, though Polly does indeed make beverages for everyone at the base, it is intrinsic to the plot.

Stunning ^^ Love all your works (at your site too), especially pictures of "swaping" eras ...
It's somehow great how you draw plots "how they should look" )

Will you draw 11th era in time? ...
