Description
The Doctor, Ben and Polly arrive at a south pole tracking base in 1986. A planet remarkably similar to Earth is entering the solar system carrying with it a race of beings who were once human - the Cybermen.The Doctor falls gravely ill and must trust the ever resourceful Ben to save the day.
With the Cybermen defeated and their planet Mondas destroyed, the exhausted Doctor and his companions make their way back to the TARDIS where strange events are about to unfold.....
The Tenth Planet (1966) was the first story to feature the Cybermen, the last story of the William Hartnell era and the first to feature regeneration.

Aha! The sockheads were by far the creepiest concept of the Cybermen.

I like how you put just a "hint" of the Cyberman's eye in the rendering. Always creeped me out. For some reason these are one of my favorite versions of the notorious cyborgs. Very nice job and like the regeneration tie-in as well.

The eye makes them so much more unnerving. It's barely visible and just makes them seem more distant and zombielike. The guys from TP are very creepy - the most macabre creatures of the Hartnell era. The modern robot versions just don't convey that at all.
