Description And some final silliness with my Tahu toys, having them act out that old evolution chart that shows up in old books and television science classrooms. Though, in a way, it does kind of fit Tahu's personality development: from a hot-headed fighter to a charging leader to a wise and calm(er) hero. Or I'm looking into it too much.

Also, I know evolution does not work this way, regardless of what PokΓ©mon says.

Nice job! The HF plating really works well for Nuva armor.

I absolutely love the Hero Factory armor and skeletal system. Seriously, it was a Mata Nui-send for someone like me who doesn't like to build the really big guys but still wants flexibility.

The skeletal system is good for another reason as well. Unlike Bionicle, where a part ended the same on both sides (socket on both ends or ball on both ends), the HF parts add a new way of forming connections with ending differently (begin with ball, end with socket). My main problem with it is that I've always had trouble adding enough mass to make it appropriately sized.

The friction joints help a bit, but yeah, a big limitation is how hard it is to add more parts to them. I'm still experimenting with a few ideas.

The big advantage of Bionicle was how it was easier to add connections.
