They need a bit more. Like mechanics or a maintenance bay. With little hidden LEDs to illuminate them.

Or at least a recreation of one/two of the little maintenance bays the fighters are stored in. Complete with little mechanics. I think the Rebel pilot suits would make good stand ins, don't you?
