Oh my gosh, you have no idea how refreshing it felt to do something entirely without the computer (save curve adjustments so this didn't look like crap once it when jpeg). Anyway, this is Taran and Eilonwy from the Black Cauldron (the lost disney movie). I did this for a contest . . . my first contest! Woohoo. Wish me luck.Related content

It was during Disney's dark age and far worse of a departure from Disney than past ones. If not for a certain redheaded Mermaid Disney would be dead today. This is the film that almost killed Disney because it wasn't an all ages film it was supposed to be a film that was far darker than Maleficent swearing in Sleeping Beauty. Just look at Horn king's design there's still dead skin on him, icky. Nice concept poor execution. Hunchback succeeded where this movie failed in terms of a dark Disney movie.

this is so sweet i love the picture but i had one problem. DID ANYONE ELSE NOTICE THE LACK OF PANTS?!?! lol that one thing bothered me but other than that i love this picture it looks like something they would do in the summer between the 1st and 2nd book.

I. *LOVE*. IT! It's so...breath-takingly beautiful. I love the style and the fishing scene. You shaded it beautifully as well ^_^ OMG I just cant stop looking at it! *Scrolls upwards with the mouse to look a it again* WOW! That is a really good movie, actually, it's sad that it didn't get the credit it deserves. Nice job, it really captures the scene.

what's sad is that they scrapped the idea of holographic cauldron born. now there's a show stopping scene. oh well. the books rock. and i like the movie so all's right with the world.

That looks awsome! I've never really seen a summer pic of Taran and Eilonwy together before. Yeah, I think The Black Cauldron has been left out a lot and you don't see images from that movie often. I'm even having a hard time finding pictures from the movie!

it's a total shame. i only have about a dozen stills or so . . . . and that collection took FOREVER to hunt down. totally underrepresented flick.
