I think the issues you described aren't really mistakes, they're more like "happy surprises" - Bob Ross-style! Β The roughness makes it feel painterly and dynamic.
As for the composition, I don't see much wrong with it. Β The figure is a bit high for textbook Rule of Thirds or Golden Ratio, but that just enhances the feeling that she's perched up high - and I think you recover it well with the position of the moon (or is it an alien planet?) behind her.
