Description Where does cotton candy come from?

Used to be it could only be found in parks. fairs or theaters.  Today it can be found in plastic wrapped bags in some grocery stores, but where does it originate?

In a few regions of the world you will find forests where cotton candy is harvested.  In the infrared world they are much easier to find, as in this example here.
